Steps to Request Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your RecoJobs App account and all associated personal data, please follow these simple steps:
- Open the email account that is registered with your RecoJobs account.
- Create a new email addressed to: recojobscustomersupport@libyansoft.ly
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
- In the body of the email, clearly state your request to close your account and delete your data, and include your full name as it appears in the app.
Once we receive your email, our support team will process your request within 3 to 5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion process is complete.
What Data is Deleted?
Upon processing your deletion request, the following data will be permanently erased:
- Personal Information: Your name, email address, phone number, and profile picture.
- Candidate Profile: Your work experience, skills, educational qualifications, and job preferences.
- Documents: Any uploaded resumes or CVs.
- Application History: Your job application records and saved jobs.
- Authentication Data: Your encrypted password and active authentication tokens will be invalidated and removed.
What Data is Kept?
For legal compliance and security purposes, we may retain certain data in an anonymized format:
- Essential system logs necessary for security and fraud prevention (scrubbed of personal identifiers).
- Aggregated and fully anonymized usage statistics used solely to improve our AI matching algorithms.
